    Description

    A classic blazer for a boy, vintage from the 1950s.  Hope the photos are helpful. From other information it seems to me to be very similar in style and detail as the Montgomery Ward blazer of the time.   Please note that although the buttons look brass in the photos, they are a silvertone.  Double slit for flap back.  Fully lined.  I can just barely see some faint "spots" in the lining fabric in the upper back a bit like water drop outlines, but I tried to show it in a photo, but it is that hard to see  Overall sizing:  length is 23 inches long bottom of collar to bottom edge in back; sleeves are 20 inches long; the chest from arm pit to arm pit is 16 inches.  My guess as to size might be a Boys 8 -10? but I see no tags of any sort in the jacket.  The fabric feels like a soft wool or wool blend.  Nicely made.  Shipping/handling by USPS to USA only for .85.  I will be listing a number of boy size vintage jackets or blazers.  If you win more than one auction, I am happy to combine and discount shipping charges.  Thanks for looking.
