Characteristics
Balalaikers 6S 1956 - a special series of balalaika with doubled strings. Such a spectacular variety of balalaikas became most notable by the end of the XIX century and was very popular both in Russia and abroad. Six-string was produced everywhere - private masters, village artels and large factories. So far, some foreign manufacturers have produced such balalaikas. In our latitudes the longest six-string was produced at the Chernyshev factory of musical instruments named after P. Postyshev, but in the second half of the 1990s the production stopped. Balalaiker restarted the production of the famous six-stringed balalaika on the basis of the Lunacharsky Factory model of 1956.
The new Balalaiker Collection 2016 was designed on the basis of design developments of the famous Leningrad Factory of Musical Instruments named after AV Lunacharsky, stylistic finds of the Moscow-based Suponyevskaya artel and peasant traditions of the Goren Balalaika fishery in the Ulyanovsk Region.
The body of the seven composite rivets is made according to the historical technology "knitting in the handle". Balalaiker painstakingly rebuilt this technology, having received a beautiful and reliable tool. Beech beech with maple lining. The lining is processed with the proprietary technology BalalaikerLeverSystem , which has made the surface resistant to abrasion and dirt. Mensura is a traditional 16-fretboard with a size of 450 mm. This old elongated type of mensura adds convenience to the game, allowing you to more interestingly develop musical themes. Maple blade.
