Classic Deluxe "Standard" Cigar Box Guitar Neck
A perfect start for all your Cigar box guitar builds!
You will be purchasing a handmade Classic Deluxe "Standard" cigar box guitar neck made from beautiful solid red oak and walnut fretboard. Features a scarf jointed "Classic style" headstock and modern flat "D" shaped neck, measuring  36” long, 1- ½” wide, 3/4” thick, with 1/4" thick fretboard. Slotted to a 25.5” scale length, with 24 handset & finished frets and 3 pre-drilled holes for tuners. Two Abalone dot inlays on the 12th fret. Lastly, every neck is sanded smooth with fine grit sandpaper and steel wool, with the bridge location marked and hand rubbed with linseed oil for a beautiful finish.
Please note, since wood is a natural product. May have very small wormholes, knots or dark veins and grain patterns will vary. any small knots or wormholes will be filled with wood putty.
Fret slots are cut with precision using Stewart-MacDonald templates and fretsaw blades, giving your frets the tightest possible fit, with no glue or adhesives needed....in other words its spot on accurate meaning better intonation and sound.
There is 11" of blank space from last fret to the bottom of the neck that will accom
