Welcome to Kettle Kernels  !<br>You are bidding on<br>5<br>lbs of Mushroom Kettle Corn Kernels (unpopped)<br>** FREE SHIPPING anywhere in USA **<br>Popcorn will be shipped via US Post Office<br>Priority Mail® Medium Flat Rate Box<br>------------------------------------<br>**   Our Popcorn is certified NON-GMO  **<br>These delicious Kettle Corn Mushroom Popcorn kernels are used to make authentic Kettle Corn just like you buy from the County fair or farmer's market.<br>Now you can make your own Kettle Corn right at home.<br>Full Detailed Instructions are included with your order.<br>This what you will need to make delicious Kettle Corn right at Home :<br>Kettle Kernels Mushroom Popcorn (buy it now)<br>Corn or Sunflower seed or Vegetable oil (you provide)<br>Sugar (you provide)<br>Salt (you provide)<br>The trick to making full rounded Kettle corn is the high heat, so use either corn or sunflower seed oil.<br>I prefer Sunflower Seed oil because it has a higher heating capacity and lighter taste.<br>Below is the recipe for making Kettle Corn.<br>Please be careful and always use caution when working with hot oils.<br>Use goggles to protect your eyes ( I learned the hard way)<br>Use oven mitts  when handling anything Hot!!<br>Instructions:<br>Prep Time: 2 minutes<br>Cook Time: 5 minutes<br>Total Time: 7 minutes<br>Ingredients:<br>·<br>1/2 cup Kettle Kernels Mushroom Popcorn<br>·<br>1/4 cup Plain White (Cane) Sugar<br>·<br>1/4 cup Either Corn oil, OR sunflower Seed Oil OR Vegetable oil<br>·<br>Salt to taste<br>The key things to remember when making Kettle corn at home (detailed instructions will follow):<br>1.<br>The oil has to be HOT, don’t put the kernels in right away.<br>2.<br>Once fully popped the popcorn has to be cooled to prevent the sugar from getting sticky.<br>Preparation:<br>1. Heat oil in a large kettle (or Pot) over medium heat.<br>2. Then, toss in three kernels, and place the lid on the kettle.<br>3. Wait for the 3 kernels to pop. This will indicate the oil is hot enough.<br>4. Once popped, quickly stir in the sugar, and add the remaining kernels.<br>5. Replace the lid, and listen for the kernels to start popping.<br>6. Then, remove the kettle from the stove, and shake to keep the kernels from burning.<br>7. Return the kettle to the stove for a few seconds; then, lift and shake again.<br>8. Repeat until all kernels have popped.<br>9. Give a couple of shakes of Salt (adjust to taste)<br>10. Quickly remove from heat and toss the popcorn into a plastic or metal bowl large enough to hold all the popcorn.  This step is important as it cools the sugar and prevents the sugar from getting sticky.  If possible, get 2 large bowls and toss<br>11.
